Here's a follow-up to this old post, featuring one of my favorite crazy ideas ever, Superman riding Devil Dinosaur, devised by buddy Chris Haley. Chris has been collecting a couple of these now, and as soon I saw them I knew I had to do one eventually. This was the first in a couple watercolor pieces I was doing to try and get back in the game. I forgot how fussy reds can be, and of course DD is all red, even if he came out a little brown here. Regardless, how can you NOT have fun doing this stuff?

i like how Supe's expression is even a little awkward...like he's posing for the camera while saying under his breath, "I don't know what i'm doing here."
