The Gordon Journals

I've got my computer back! It's working great, and I was able to save all my files too. Unfortunately, I need to reinstall all my programs, so I'm still ramping up toward getting finished work posted. In the meantime, here's a photo I thought I'd share.

These are two journals I'm using to keep track of a couple projects I've been developing for myself. The one in front is clearly for The Brothers Gordon. I wanted to play with the logo, keeping the typecase for "the brothers" but using a Sickles look for "GORDON". For obvious legal reasons I probably won't stick with that. It's a nice sturdy notebook that I can take on trips while trying to plot out the adventures of Henry and Mammoth. Hopefully I'll be able to share a little of what's in there sometime.

The second notebook in back is for something I'm developing to work on soon, with the hopes of syndication. It may be a silly notion given the state of newspapers today, and how difficult it is to get syndicated in the first place, but it's a promise I made to myself as a kid and I've gotta stick to it. I'm really excited about the strip and hope to start sending stuff out this summer. If nothing else, I suppose I could try to self-publish it, eh?

So there you go. I'm hoping to have something ready for Thor Thursday this week, Marcelo started back up last week and I'm going to try to join in. Check back then!
