I meant to have this done in time for the 4th of July, but other things just kept piling up. Finally got around to finishing the washes today and plowed through the colors tonight. I tried pushing the washes darker in places, and played with the colors a little as well. Some of the background stuff is rendered in pencil instead of washes too. It'd been a while since I drew Cap in a full shot, wanted to take another stab at it. I apologize for the rampant "pin-up"-ness of it.I haven't really talked about it much here, but I was planning on going to Wiz World Chicago. As of a week ago I finally came to the conclusion that with the move westward coming up (very soon) I just won't be able to make it. It's really disappointing for me, there's a lot of you folks out there that I was really looking forward to meeting, but if I can find a way to get there at the last minute I'll be there. There's a very slim chance of that, but who knows? So why am I bringing this up? The above image was one of the things I was considering making prints of for the show. That and a Nick Fury piece I am really excited about working on.
