Road to Chicago pt.1

Hey everybody. Everything's pretty hectic here around Casa de Shaner, but as you can see above, I'm working hard on the print you guys helped me pick for Wizard World Chicago. Lots of marker being laid down here. And me being the fool I am, I'm going to try and work up a second one. We'll see in the next couple of days whether I've bitten off more than I can chew, but for right now that's the plan. And it's not exactly the runner-up from the poll either (WINK).

Speaking of Chicago, I am still running the deal mentioned here should that interest you. I've decided that my rough con sketch rates are going to be $30 for a full figure inked, and $15 for a large mugshot inked. So really, you'd be getting $5 off and a free mugshot out of the special deal if that's your thing. Plus, I'm really not sure how many sketches I'm going to be able to take this time around.

And as always, the regular commission list keeps growing, but there's always more room on it. E-mail me at evantshaner@gmail.com with any questions.

Last but not least, my cousin and short film maker extraordinaire Jonathan D'Ambrosio has started a series featuring DC Comics' The Unknown Soldier, and dedicated it to me. It's an incredibly nice gesture on his part, and I can't wait to see him don the trademark bandages. I only wish I was still going to be in town long enough to play FDR.

Alright, diving back into these boxes.

2 of these things are not like the others:
