Here's another one of these DC "bookmarks" I've been doing as a different way to use up scrap paper instead of the mugshots. I know I talk about the Flash and Captain Marvel and whatever a lot, but you really can't beat Superman.According to Alex Toth, Siegel & Shuster offered the Superman newspaper strip to Noel Sickles. Of course, that never came to be, but I suppose this is kind of my take on what that might have looked like. Of course, it comes nowhere close to if Sickles himself had done it.
Who's next? I dunno yet.
Superman is property of DC Comics
4 of these things are not like the others:
These banners are fun stuff, Evan!
Out of curiosity, where does the scrap paper come from? What goodness happens on the rest of the paper?
You are "honestly" becoming one of my favourite artists on Earth. It's YOU, Tim Sale, and Darwin Cooke for top three! Also... Mike Mignola and Guy Davis would round out the top Five!
well we have seen Batman and Robin, we have seen Superman, how about Tarzan or Dick Tracy? Im really enjoying the format your using for these
Doug- Thanks man! These scraps specifically come from the bigger pieces featuring full figures, not exactly sure which ones.
Robert Forest- Thank you very much, very kind of you to say. All those guys are incredible and far better than me.
and thanks Anton! It has been too long since I've drawn Tarzan.
