Here's something that's taken me forever to finally finish. A little while ago I mentioned that good buddy Jay Fosgitt and I had started a Popeye vs. Namor team-up. Jay, because he's lightning fast, finished his part in no time. I took forever with Namor, and took much longer to finally get this whole thing colored. Nobody draws a better Popeye than Jay, as far as I'm concerned.

Fight to the DEATH
Here's something that's taken me forever to finally finish. A little while ago I mentioned that good buddy Jay Fosgitt and I had started a Popeye vs. Namor team-up. Jay, because he's lightning fast, finished his part in no time. I took forever with Namor, and took much longer to finally get this whole thing colored. Nobody draws a better Popeye than Jay, as far as I'm concerned.

2 of these things are not like the others:
Page One: 6 panels, 1 page-width on top, a 2x2 grid, and 1 page-width on bottom.
Panel One:
Popeye puts his dukes up on the pier as Namor charges forward.
Namor: Olive Oyl is mine by Atlantean right!
Panel Two:
Namor, holding Popeye by the collar, dives the pair into the water. Bubbles stream from Popeye's mouth.
Panel Three:
Popeye puts up his arms in defense as Namor's vicious onslaught continues underwater.
Panel Four:
A clean shot to the kisser knocks Popeye into a giant clam.
SFX: DONNNGGGG!
Panel Five:
The Giant Clam's lid snaps shut, encasing Popeye inside.
Panel Six:
Popeye crawls out and sees the forest of kelp around the clam. A thought bubble hovers around his head with a picture of a can of spinach, a plus sign, and some Ukiyo-e style waves.
