New 1990 Gettysburg!

So if you head over to my other online hideout, you'll see that 1990 Gettysburg has started up again. I've been trying to work at least a week ahead, between working on sequentials and other things, as I ease into a new format for the strip. Go over there to check it out all week, as I'll try to keep all '90G stuff over there.

Had a really busy weekend. For the first time since we've moved to Colorado, I got a chance to see the mountains. Carla got plenty of pictures of all that, but one of the highlights of the trip for me was stopping in Idaho Springs along the way to see a statue of Steve Canyon. I wanted to get a straight shot, or a picture of myself with ol' Steve, but the sun was right behind his head.
And here are a couple pics I took of the two plaques that are on the base of the statue.I found it a little strange that Milt Caniff's name appears nowhere on either plaque.
Still pretty darn cool though, there are only a handful of newspaper strip characters who have statues, I'd imagine.
