Invasion of the COMIC TWART

I'm running waaaay behind everybody else this week, but if you've been over to the COMIC TWART you know that this week's theme is Torpedo from Torpedo 1936. Both Alex Toth and Jordi Bernet worked on the book, and considering that's 2 corners of my artistic trinity, it shouldn't be a surprise that this is one of my favorite books. One of my favorite stories, "Cut the Dramatics", involved Torpedo and sidekick Rascal roughing up a guy in a theater while watching Tarzan the Ape Man. Above is just a small clip of the whole page I did.

Finishing this up took up the better part of the last two days, so I didn't really have time for the warm-up villain sketches. Yesterday was supposed to be the Ultra-Humanite, and today's is supposed to be the Vulture. I still plan on drawing the Vulture sometime next week, but I'm going to be pretty busy for the month, so posts will most likely be a little lighter for now.
