Fantastic Four!

Here's another recent commission, one meant to look sort of like the old Marvel corner boxes, and in this instance featuring the Fantastic Four. If you were watching the Blog@Newsarama a week or so ago you might have seen that Lan Pitts took notice of how badly I want to draw a Marvel Family book, but that's not the only (get ready for it) Marvel family (I'm really sorry) I want to draw. This isn't news to you folks who check in regularly, but if Captain Marvel is my dream book at DC, than the Fantastic Four is easily my goal at Marvel.

I've gone on and on about how much I like Ben Grimm, but the whole family is what attracted me to the character in the first place. I was very happy to get this commission request as it's been a while since I took the time to draw Johnny, especially "flamed on". Reed is always fun to draw and Sue is another one of my favorites. I've got some FF sample pages that really need to be inked so hopefully I can post some of that soon.
